IDS or Interactive Design Service, is just one of the many features you get with Heritage, that you won’t find anywhere else.
It begins with an idea. A few scratches of pen on paper. Perhaps the idea was first hatched at a family B-B-Q and hastily scratched on a napkin. Maybe the idea is something you have been working on for years. Regardless of how the idea came to you, we can help bring it to life.
With the Interactive Design Service, you will work directly with Heritage’s Licensed Architect for a fraction of the cost you might incur using a local Architectural firm. Our Architect is hard at work designing Log Homes & Timber Frame Homes everyday; as such you will be hard pressed to find anyone with more knowledge or experience with the intricacies of Log & Timber design.
With the IDS program our Architect will visit your home site with you, program your home needs and incorporate that into the characteristics of your specific site. After the initial site visit is complete all communication will be done via the web. Here at Heritage we have the ability to link our Architect’s computer with yours. All you need is an email adderss and a computer with internet access. You can watch in real time as we modify your design to fit your needs. “This is one of the most time saving devices I have ever worked with.” Says John Barker, Heritage staff Architect. “Because the Client has the opportunity to electronically ‘mark’ on the computer screen what area they want revised, it eliminates the guess work. It also eliminates the mailing, marking, re-mailing, re-marking process. The client gets to see the changes happen live and how that change effects the layout and look of the home.”
Once the design comes together, Heritage can take the plans and start working on an estimate. At the end you have a plan that has been modified to fit your lifestyle, or in some cases a completely unique home.
IDS is just one of the ways Heritage is changing the way people buy a home. |
